At the end of June 2019, two solar parks located in the Miroslawiec municipality of the West Pomeranian province received a licence for the production of renewable energy. As a result, at the beginning of July, we introduced the first kilowatt-hour of electricity generated by these installations to the grid.
Vortex Energy Polska Ltd. was responsible for the planning, development and implementation phase of the investment. We also prepared these projects to participate in the sale of electricity auction held by the Energy Regulatory Office and, also obtained co-financing from EU funds for the realization of these projects.
It should be noted that these solar parks were built at the same time as four other solar investments in other parts of Poland, and their realization lasted about 3 months. The steel constructions consisted of:
The total installed capacity of both parks is: 0.845 MW and 0,728 MW respectively.
Estimated anual energy production is of about 790 MWh (for Zacisze I) and 680 MWh (for Zacisze II).
Vortex Energy Polska Ltd. oversees all power plants with its own technical management.
The team responsible for energy sales on the power market is Vortex Energy – Obrót, which provides services such as access to the exchange and balancing market, forecasting production volume and commercial balancing. Thanks to the good cooperation between the sister companies Vortex Energy Polska and Vortex Energy – Obrót, the process of establishing a Responsible Entity for the Balancing and Energy Selling for own operator purposes has been efficiently carried out.
Both projects obtained co-financing from Regional Operational Program for the West Pomerania province from the European Regional Development Fund.
