The newly appointed management of Vortex Energy is implementing a new business model for the company. 

In Vortex Energy, a company belonging to the Vitol group, significant changes have occurred in the composition of the management board. The Supervisory Board has approved the decision to appoint Justine Ryan as the CEO. Adam Błażeczek is responsible for the company’s finances, while Maciej Przybylski oversees operational activities. The changes in leadership arise from ambitious investment plans and the continuous development of the company.

Justine Ryan has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Since September 2021, she has been responsible for renewable energy investments in the EMEA markets at Vitol. She gained experience by holding key managerial roles at GE Capital, GE Renewable Energy, and SSE/Airtricity.

The new appointments also encompass Adam Błażeczek as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Maciej Przybylski as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Both have extensive experience in efficient resource management and project implementation.

Having served as CEO since January 2019, Maciej Pepliński has been appointed to the position of Chief of Staff (CoS). Previously involved in strategic management, he will now coordinate and support the leadership actions of the company in his new role.

Changes in key positions in the management of Vortex Energy are of paramount importance for the company’s strategic plans. According to the new business model, the company will become an independent renewable energy producer in Poland and Europe explains Justine Ryan, CEO of Vortex Energy.

Vortex Energy was acquired by the Vitol Group in January 2023. Within the first 12 months it commenced the construction of a portfolio of wind and photovoltaic projects with a combined capacity of 110 MW, investing $123 million, with completion planned by mid-2025. To date, it has delivered over 450 MW of completed wind and solar energy projects, and its development plan includes over 3 GW of wind and solar energy and 2 GW in energy storage projects.
