6 NEW SOLAR FARMS IN VORTEX ENERGY POLAND PORTFOLIO
At the end of June 2019, we completed the construction of further solar parks in Poland with a total capacity of 5.492MW and introduced the first kilowatt hours of electricity to the grid.
Vortex Energy Polska Sp. z o.o. was responsible for the planning, development and execution of the project, and for three farms it was also the general contractor. The Vortex Energy team prepared all projects for participation in the ERA auction for the sale of RES energy and obtained EU funding for three of these projects.
It is particularly noteworthy that all the farms were built at the same time, their construction took about 3 months which should be considered a huge success of the whole Vortex Energy Polska Team.
While connecting the completed photovoltaic power plants to the grid, we cooperated simultaneously with four different power system operators.
Details of completed projects:
- Zacisze I and Zacisze II – Zachodniopomorskie province, installed capacity 0.845 MW and 0.728 MW,
- Dębica – Zachodniopomorskie province, installed capacity 0.961 MW,
- Szczuczyn II – Podlaskie province, installed capacity 0.986 MW,
- Goszcz – Lower Silesian province, installed capacity 0.986 MW,
- Runowo Krajeńskie – Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province, installed capacity 0.986 MW.
Vortex Energy Polska has placed all power plants under its own technical management.
Vortex Energy – Obrót is responsible for the sale of the generated energy to the wholesale market which provides services in terms of access to the exchange and balancing market, production volume forecasting and trade balancing. Thanks to good cooperation between the sister companies Vortex Energy Polska and Vortex Energy – Obrót, the processes of establishing an Entity in charge of Balancing and Sellers of energy for own use with all four operators have been carried out efficiently.
Development of the Zacisze I, Zacisze II and Dębica power plants was co-financed by the European Union under the Regional Operational Programme of the Zachodniopomorskie province for 2014-2020 from the European Regional Development Fund, Priority Axis II Low carbon economy, Measure 2.10 Increasing the use of renewable sources.
Charged with positive energy, we plan to develop another 5 solar parks still this year!
