Vortex Energy is a 100% subsidiary of Vitol, and is a leading renewable energy company in Poland. To date, it has delivered over 400 MW of operational renewable generation capacity in wind and solar and has a development pipeline of over 3 GW. Vitol will initiate construction of over 120 MW of PV solar and onshore wind projects in the next 12 months and plans to deploy $1 bn of capital over the next 5 years into renewables in Poland and expand the business into the wider region.

This is Vitol’s first major investment in renewable power in Europe and is aligned with its strategy of investing in the energy transition and growing its sustainable business activities. It is expected that Vortex will grow to become Vitol’s renewable energy investment platform in Central Eastern and South Europe.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Building and implementing the marketing strategy,
  • Implementation of short- and long-term marketing plans,
  • Coordination of PR and advertising campaigns,
  • Management of communication posted on Social Media (management, analysis of activities),
  • Copywriting and creation of engaging content in marketing materials (online content, flyers, brochures, press releases, etc.),
  • Preparation of graphic materials for daily communications,
  • Building a positive brand image.

Qualifications and experience:

  • university degree, preferably in: PR, journalism, marketing, management,
  • professional experience min. 5 years,
  • practical knowledge of Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator),
  • very good practical knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of SharePoint Online, basic HTML, Google Analytics,
  • knowledge of English (at least B2),
  • creativity, communication skills,
  • experience in independent project management,
  • proactive ‘can-do’ attitude,
  • determination to achieve the desired results and openness to seeking new solutions,
  • driving licence, category B.

Purposes of processing and legal basis of processing
Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
a. entering the recruitment process Article 6(1)(a) RODO;
b. activities aimed at concluding a contract of employment art. 6(1)(b) RODO in connection with art. 221 § 1 of the Act of 26 June 1974 Labour Code;

The period for which they will be processed
Your personal data will be:
a. processed until you have withdrawn your consent to further processing, if the processing required your informed and voluntary consent;
b. your personal data will be processed for the period of time necessary in connection with the recruitment;
c. the personal data of candidates with whom a contract of employment has not been concluded will be permanently deleted after the recruitment process has been completed within a period of 2 weeks from the end of the recruitment.
