Vortex Energy is a 100% subsidiary of Vitol, and is a leading renewable energy company in Poland. To date, it has delivered over 400 MW of operational renewable generation capacity in wind and solar and has a development pipeline of over 3 GW. Vitol will initiate construction of over 120 MW of PV solar and onshore wind projects in the next 12 months and plans to deploy $1 bn of capital over the next 5 years into renewables in Poland and expand the business into the wider region.

This is Vitol’s first major investment in renewable power in Europe and is aligned with its strategy of investing in the energy transition and growing its sustainable business activities. It is expected that Vortex will grow to become Vitol’s renewable energy investment platform in Central Eastern and South Europe.

Position Summary

You will be working with the Board Management and Supervisory Board and will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks in support of the Management’s daily work and assisting with ongoing projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • supporting the managers in their daily duties;
  • coordinating administrative and organisational activities;
  • business meetings;
  • support for the organisation of internal and external events;
  • preparing minutes, presentations and reports;
  • taking care of the proper flow of information;
  • maintaining the Management Board’s calendar and schedule, support in planning business trips;
  • organising and coordinating global and local meetings (internal and external);
  • preparation of agendas and meeting notes (in Polish or English);
  • collecting data and preparing analyses, summaries, documents as well as formatting and translating texts;
  • cooperation with global management during joint projects;
  • corporate support for the Management Board and Supervisory Board;
  • coordination of business-related topics – leasing, insurance brokers, IT company.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Ideally, postgraduate degree in administration, management or economics;
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience on similar position;
  • Experience in dealing with company bodies such as the Supervisory Board;
  • Good English language skills.
